A site built for our trade
Service, pricing, service-area and emergency pages structured the way a customer actually searches for an electrician — not a generic template with our logo dropped in.
Behind the scenes
Most pages on this site are about electrical work. This one is about the site itself: we didn't build it, and we didn't pay an agency to build it either. Nexwin AI did, at no cost, in exchange for us writing this page. Here's the actual brief, what they delivered, and why we're fine putting our name behind it.
The brief
Like most small electrical businesses, we didn't have the time or budget for a slow, back-and-forth website build. We needed clear service pages, upfront pricing, an easy booking flow, and something that loads fast on a phone from a work van — without an ongoing retainer to keep it running.
Nexwin AI offered to design and build the site at no charge, as a showcase of their own work, on the condition that we'd be upfront about who built it and link back to them. That trade felt fair, so we said yes.
What Nexwin AI delivered
Service, pricing, service-area and emergency pages structured the way a customer actually searches for an electrician — not a generic template with our logo dropped in.
Every page loads quickly on mobile data, with the booking form and call button always within reach — important when most enquiries come from someone standing in front of a broken switchboard.
Nexwin also dropped in their own product: an AI chat assistant that sits in the corner of every page, answering common questions and taking after-hours enquiries when our phone line is closed.
The chat widget in practice
The little chat bubble in the bottom corner of this site is Nexwin's own chatbot product, not a third-party plug-in. It's connected to our services, pricing and service-area pages, so a visitor who lands on the site at 10pm with a tripped switchboard can get a straight answer — or be pointed to the emergency line — instead of leaving to search elsewhere.
We didn't need to write scripts or manage a knowledge base ourselves; Nexwin set it up as part of the build and it's kept in sync with the rest of the site.
We're not going to pretend this is an unprompted review — it isn't. Nexwin built this site for free and asked for a case study in return. But the reason we agreed to write one is that the actual experience held up: the build was delivered on time, the site works properly on mobile, and the chat widget hasn't caused us any problems since it went live.
If you run a similar small trades or local service business and want a fast, no-nonsense website with an AI chat assistant built in — without hiring a full agency — Nexwin AI is who built ours.
